Our Comprehensive Training Modules

Basic TeamWork Training Module 1

This introductory module covers the absolute basics of the TeamWork system, designed to provide a fundamental understanding and sufficient knowledge for basic data input. Prerequisite: The panel shop owner MUST complete the OWNER’S training module before anyone begins this module.

  • System Overview
  • New DR: Name/Address page, Quote page, Totals page, Rates/Discount (how to give a discount and parts markup), Notes page, Dates page, Towing Page, Printing page (Print the quote and Towing slip)
  • Select DR
  • Convert to RO
  • Review RO: Name/Address Page (insurance details), Quote Page (change quote for assessor/HO to enter Extras), Totals Page (excess details), Printing Page (Check-in list/Job Card/Parts list)

Basic TeamWork Training Module 2

Building on Module 1, this module provides a deeper understanding of the system. Prerequisite: Basic TeamWork Training Module 1 MUST be completed.

  • New DR: Name/Address page (Come Back AND Internal Work), Rates page (how to change the rates per DR file), Photos page, Scans Page, Printing Page (Correspondence/photos), Audatex
  • RO: How to write off a vehicle, Printing (Check-in list/Quote authorisation/extras/quality control, release note, guarantee, excess invoice and insurance invoice)
  • Notes page – General Files Bin

Parts Ordering Training Module

Designed for parts managers, this module provides a comprehensive understanding of parts management within TeamWork. Prerequisite: Basic TeamWork Training Module 1 MUST be completed.

  • Overview
  • Ordering Parts: Quantity/Date/Supplier/Backorder, Printing order/email order, Backorder report
  • Receiving parts: Print labels, Backorder, Receive date/Retail pricing, Costing, RFC
  • Paper work flow

Customer Relations Training Module

This module focuses on how the TeamWork system interfaces with customers, ideal for Customer Relations managers. Prerequisite: TeamWork Basic Training Module 1 MUST be completed.

  • SMS functions
  • Collecting important customer info
  • Correspondence
  • Booking in
  • Management Reports (Vehicles Scheduled in and out/Vehicles not authorised/Vehicles on site)
  • Progress reports (how to SMS)

Debtors Training Module

Gain a comprehensive understanding of the TeamWork Debtors system. Prerequisites: TeamWork Basic Training Module 1 AND 2 MUST be completed.

  • Understanding how the TeamWork Debtors system operates
  • Setting up the Debtors functions – Insurers & Repeat Customers
  • Invoicing
  • Closed ROs
  • Receive payments / passing credit notes
  • Financial Passwords
  • Reports and Audit Trails

Creditors Training Module

Learn the intricacies of managing your creditors within TeamWork. Prerequisites: TeamWork Basic Training Module 1 AND 2 MUST be completed. It is advisable to complete the Parts Ordering module as well.

  • Understanding how the TeamWork Creditors system operates
  • Ledger codes
  • Invoices, RFC, Credit notes and cheques: Capture/Edit
  • Printing remittances
  • RFC account
  • Reports and Audit trails
  • Interface with the TeamWork Repair Orders for costing.

Basic Management Module

Develop foundational management skills using TeamWork's reporting tools. Prerequisites: Basic Training Module 1, Module 2, AND the Parts Ordering module MUST be completed.

  • Overview
  • Management Reports: Work in progress (Sales), Parts on backorder, Parts on open ROs, List of DRs, List of Closed ROs, List of Converted ROs, List of open ROs with Parts Problems, List of Open ROs which are comebacks, Vehicles Scheduled in AND out, Vehicles Authorised and NOT authorised, Vehicles on site, Estimators Reports, Assessor Reports, Manufacturer Reports
  • Daily Planning: How to use it effectively

Intermediate Management Module

Advance your management capabilities with deeper insights into parts control and vehicle release processes. Prerequisite: Basic Management Module MUST be completed.

  • Overview
  • Parts Controls: Ordering/Backorders/Receiving/Price differences/Parts Costing
  • Before Releasing a vehicle: Check costing/extras
  • Insurance Audits

Advanced Management Module

Master advanced financial analysis, sales growth strategies, and system security. Prerequisite: Intermediate Management Module MUST be completed.

  • Overview
  • Gross Profit: Projecting a GP / Costing Paint, Labour and supplies to a job / Actual GP
  • Reports and Analysis tools: Work in progress (Cost) / Gross Profit (Global) / Expected Sales / Sales report per insurer and broker
  • Increasing sales: Using the DR list and the Expected Sales report
  • Customer Relations: Must attend the Customer Relations training module
  • Security: Passwords and how to use them effectively
